Big Tech doesn't invent. It acquires.
Every AI buildout announcement is an assembly, not an invention. The chip. The data center. The model release. Each one sits on dozens of smaller, unglamorous companies that had to exist first. Materials. Components. Manufacturing gear. Power and cooling. The integrators who bolt it all together. Big Tech rarely builds any of that from scratch. It buys what already works.
This is where we trace that chain, layer by layer, and name the unglamorous companies holding it together. No stock picks. No insider access. Just the architecture everyone else skips past on the way to the press release.
How we build the map
Decompose
Take the headline apart. A data center isn't one thing. It's power, cooling, networking, memory and the crews who assemble it. We name the layers.
Map
Name the real companies in each layer, sourced from SEC filings, patents, trade shows and hiring data. Public records, read closely. Nothing invented.
Flag
Run a plain checklist against each company: proven tech, a bottleneck a buyer can't build in-house, a size and ownership that make a sale likely.
